Incredible INDIAMr Arulampalam has visited the Gian Sagar Medical College and Hospital in Patiala, just North of Chandigarh. After a meeting with the Management team Mr. Arulampalam delivered a lecture on collaborative working in healthcare. The MSc in minimally invasive and robotic surgery is likely to be very popular. Recruitment will be for September 2011 and any interested party should contact Naomi Hill at naomi.hill@icenicentre.org After a brief stopover in Hyderabad the next visit will be to the Indian Medical Association meeting in Vijayawada and onwards to Kochi.

Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland

The ASGBI annual conference takes place this month. The scientific meeting incorporates the subspeciality meetings including the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons and National Laparoscopic Colorectal Training Steering Committee meeting.

LAPCO Training the TrainersLAPCO Training the Trainers

The ICENI Centre will host the LAPCO TTT course in October 2011. This innovative course for national trainers makes its first visit to Colchester. As hosts, the ICENI centre will provide excellent facilities and I am sure this will be a great success.
